Highly intrigued by business cycles and graphs, Dhwani pursued a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Warwick, UK. However, she recognised her love for marketing when she was elected the Head of Marketing for the Warwick Indian Society. On her return to India, Dhwani interned with Ernst & Young’s Brand Marketing and Communications team in Mumbai. Her knack for telling stories also secured her an opportunity with Humans of Bombay where she worked as a content writer. Moving from strength to strength in the field of her passion had only solidified her intent to take it higher for which she looked to augment her portfolio with an opportunity with Weber Shandwick as a Marketing Associate. Today, Dhwani has 3 years of experience spearheading public relations and social media operations for consultancies, consumer, and corporate brands, including Twitter India, Destinations New South Wales, LinkedIn APAC (Trust and Policy), and Omidyar Network India. Her experience and education together contribute to her key competencies of stakeholder management and implementing new communication strategies that lead to measurable impact.
Dhwani is a trained Indian Classical Singer and is still pursuing further training in the field. She is also an ardent believer in the power of the pen and writes profusely.
She is an alumna of Mayo College Girls’ School, Ajmer, where she completed her secondary education.
