Our Story

Reimagining the world of
women and work

The Vedica Scholars Programme for Women is India’s first and only full-time management programme designed exclusively for women. It blends world-class business education with mentorship, liberal arts learning, and personal growth to prepare women not just for work, but for the long run.

Anuradha Das Mathur co-founded Vedica to help women stay and thrive in the workforce. Our credo is simple: Don’t quit on your potential.

Pramath Raj Sinha, widely recognised as an institution-builder in higher education, was committed to the idea. As a co-founder, his early mentorship and guidance birthed the kernel of what we have today.

Through this vision, Vedica has become a place where women discover their strengths, challenge convention, and design careers that change their futures and the world around them.

“Dignity and dependence cannot go hand in hand. Every woman deserves the chance to build her own path with courage, confidence, and a sisterhood that lifts her up.”

The Vedica philosophy

The name Vedica comes from Veda, meaning wisdom and truth. It reflects our belief that timeless wisdom and modern ambition can coexist. Vedica is more than a programme. It is a movement helping women learn, lead, and live with confidence and conviction.
