    Nandini is an advisor to the academic team at Vedica. She is an educator by profession with experience both in general and special education. She has two degrees in Education, a general and a special ed B.Ed. In her previous engagements, she has been a class teacher as well as resource room professional helping students with learning gaps cope with curricular needs. Recently she completed her MBA in Social Sector Entrepreneurship and was working with an NGO involved in creating and disseminating inclusive curriculum content and practices with state Government schools and other educational organisations. She was involved in creating teaching content for English language literacy across grades, as well as planning and conducting training sessions for teachers on inclusive teaching. She is fond of writing for children and crafting is her passion. She relaxes by devouring murder mysteries.

    Ajaya Kaushik manages Academic Affairs and Speaker Series at Vedica. Before joining Vedica, she was handling Quality Assurance and Mobile Applications projects and Marketing in Team Computers. She is a Young India Fellow from the batch of 2016 and completed her bachelors in B.Sc(Honors) Chemistry from Ramjas College, University of Delhi. She is interested in performing theatre.

    Anuradha Das Mathur is Founding Dean of Vedica Scholars Programme for Women. She is Founder and Director of 9.9 Media, one of India’s fastest growing niche media companies, which believes in raising the bar for higher education through publications like EDU that helps decision makers at higher education institutions govern their institutions smartly. Prior to becoming an entrepreneur, she ran Businessworld, one of India’s most widely read business magazines and worked for The Economist Group. Anuradha was selected as one of 25 young, talented, emerging global woman leaders for the prestigious Global Emerging Women Leader’s Programme, offered by Fortune magazine and the US State Department. Her passion for improving women’s participation in the workforce took root during this programme and has led to pioneering ventures such as The Foundation for Working Women, a platform where public policy, infrastructure and awareness come together to help women ‘live their choice to work’.

    Associate Director, Careers and Student Affairs

    Deepa is Associate Director, Careers and Student Affairs at Vedica. With a Masters in Literature, she comes with over 20 years of experience in Business Development, across various industries, spanning from Hospitality to FMCG. In her last assignment, she was heading sales for brands like Kraft, Horlicks, Sensodyne etc., for UAE. Deepa loves to travel, experience new cultures and enjoys good food.

    Esther Lalhlimpui is Assistant Director, Academics & Career Development at Vedica. She is an MBA graduate with Human Resource as her specialisation and has 5 years of experience in the field of Education Management and Administration. She has also worked with an NGO called Dev Pro as HR & Admin. In her free time, Esther loves to design shoes and also likes to exercise as that's the only thing that prevents her from going insane :)

    Assistant Manager in Marketing and Admissions

    Inara is a graduate in Mathematics from LSR, Batch of 2018. After completing her graduation she joined Vedica as a Coordinator in the Admissions and Marketing team. Her work usually involves interacting with many prospective studens and their parents where she acquaints them with Vedica's mission and vision. Apart from work, she likes listening to country music as well as rhythm and blues. Despite her logical background, she believes in appreciating the randomness of nature and she likes to capture it through photography. She is known as the best photographer in her office.

    Programme Lead

    Kanika works as Programme Lead at the Dean's Office at Vedica. She completed her Master’s in Strategic Communications at the London School of Economics, where her dissertation focused on the intersection of media and gender. After graduating, she worked in corporate communications and digital media before deciding to pursue her passion for research and writing. She enjoys reading and loves discovering new art, music, and theatre.

    Moksha is a Journalism graduate from the Lady Shri Ram College for Women and a Young India Fellow. Before joining Vedica as a Programme Lead, she spent two years mentoring high-school students as a Writing and Counseling Specialist at Athena Education, a Gurgaon-based consultancy firm. Moksha enjoys silence, sarcasm, learning about (baby) animals, and soaking in the sun with some music on. She also likes writing and drawing terrible sketches.

    Executive Assistant & Manager - Director’s office

    Monica Wadhwa is the Executive Assistant and Manager - Director's office. A Humanities graduate from Delhi University, Monica is a multitasking juggernaut with many tricks up her sleeve. Nicknamed Moni"Can" by the Vedica Team, she singlehandedly supports the Dean's Office of Vedica Scholar's Programme for Women. She is a devout practitioner of Buddhism and reveres Sai Baba, which is a unique blend of religious practices. Monica draws her energy from her family. Her daughter is the most precious person in the world and her aide, and her mother is a constant pillar of support and comfort. She loves sharing stories from her life and has a comedic timing like none other.

    Hostel Warden

    Om Prakash is the Hostel Warden; he is one of founding programme team member of Vedica. He’s graduated from Delhi University, Om Prakash found passion and love for education, exploring things for self-development. Om Prakash has 8-9 years of experience in different administration role, before Vedica he worked precisely for YIF and for 5 years in United Health Group as Senior Associate. His key responsibilities in Vedica are to take care of hostel wellbeing, safety, security, hygiene and comfort of Scholars. His dedication, love and care towards Scholars and Hostel is unmatched, his friendly and ‘not so typical warden style’ give Scholars a different level of comfort in hostel. Om Prakash loves reading, listening old/new songs, watching movies and series and always seek knowledge.

    Assistant Manager - IT Infra

    Pradeep is the System Administrator with The Vedica Scholars Programme for Women, working with aiding the digital marketing initiatives, academic coordination and overviewing the complete IT infrastructure of both the hostel and the campus. Proficient with different aspects of computer science, he displays an ever-burning fire to grow, learn and develop his skills and work ethic continually.

    Tutor and Teaching Assistant,Vedica Writing and Communication Centre

    Priyanka Kapoor is a postgraduate in English Literature from Lady Shri Ram College, Delhi University. She is a poet and her poems have been published in Hakara Journal, Young Voice & Verse Poetry magazine and The Showbear Family Circus. She was also shortlisted for The R L Poetry award in 2017.

    Pushkar joined Vedica as part of the Vedica Writing and Communication Center in order to pursue a career in education. He is currently completing a distance learning degree at Indira Gandhi National Open University and spends his free time reading, writing and playing basketball.

    Having recently completed her Masters in Liberal Studies, Rabsimar is working as a Programme Lead in the academics team of The Vedica Scholars Programme for Women. She also pursued the Young India Fellowship after completing her graduation in Multimedia and Mass Communication from Indraprastha College for Women. She is committed to constantly interact with fierce opinions and powerful literature to further the feminist discourse in her personal and professional life. Having worked on ethnographic research projects, she is especially keen on learning about women and their way of life across diverse cultures. She is also a theatre enthusiast and an avid reader of Queer poetry.

    Rahul Lalchandani is the Assistant Director, Marketing and Admissions at Vedica. A Statistics graduate from Delhi University, Rahul found his love for all-things-digital in his little stint with Ogilvy & Mather right after college. He has now managed and led digital campaigns with over 20 universities & colleges in India in the last 4 years. His key duties at Vedica are to preserve the institute's ethos, build the brand's digital footprints and engage the millennial community on social media.     Roopa joins us as Associate Director- Student Affairs & Programme Development, with over 20 years of industry experience in the fields of administration, facilities management and soft skills training, both in India and the U.A.E.She has a bachelor’s degree in commerce and a certification in Facilities Management from the British Institute of Facilities Management. She has exceptional organizational skills, work structuring ability and intuitive team building and management skills. She is a powerful communicator and has the ability to connect with people and form a rapport with them. Truly a ‘peoples’ person! She is absolutely committed, be it to the organisation she works for, her team or her family. Singing and music bring out the soul in her. Multi-tasking and discipline are her mantras. Patience and compassion is what life has taught her. Living life to the fullest is her motto.

    Ruchi Mahajan is the COO and Director at Vedica. Numbers and processes come to her naturally and she is passionate about executing and growing a business idea she truly believes in! An MBA in Finance, Ruchi brings vast experience in the field of education and financial services. She spent her early years working for mutual funds -- she was a core member of a Canadian mutual fund setting up operations in India. She moved on to head the Delhi Office for Sun F &C Mutual Fund, which was later acquired by Principal Financial Group. Her passion for academics led her to teach and mentor students. Before joining Vedica she got an opportunity to conceptualise and set up an education institute in the finance space. An easy-going and friendly person, she loves to be with people. She enjoys cooking at her leisure, likes to party, travel and spend time with family. Mother of two teenagers, and working with the millennials now, she has somehow managed to keep her cool at all times!

    Senior Manager,Vedica Writing and Communication Centre

    Sandeep Sen hails from a small town in Nagaland called Dimapur. He has travelled to many places and you must believe him when he says, "I have seen things." Sandeep was smitten by the story bug in school, when he was forced to read books to improve his language. He graduated High School with School Colors in Cricket and high grades in English. He chose English. He went to Christ University, Bangalore, where he was also forced to study Psychology and Sociology; he enjoyed it, mostly. After his graduation, he served as the Managing Editor of Higher Education Review for 3.5 years. In 2017, he joined the Young India Fellowship and resumed the pursuit of his love for stories and writing. As for the things Sandeep has seen, he reserves them for his stories, which he intends to write tomorrow. Sandeep is now a Senior Manager and Writing Mentor at the Vedica Scholars Programme for Women.

  • Satya Prakash

    Assistant Manager, IT & Infrastructure

    Satya Prakash is from a beautiful town in Bihar, which he lovingly calls his 'Nani House'. Having done a PG Diploma in video editing, he takes a keen interest in photography and videography. He started his career with a short stint at T series, after which he moved on to Sri. Aurobindo Centre for Arts and Communication. He has also worked in a news channel and has done his fair share of freenlance work as well, before joining The Vedica Scholars Programme for Women almost 2 years ago. He single-handedly transformed Vedica's infrastructure and takes immense pride in his association with the vision of Vedica. He is a huge fan of Ghazals and is committed to bringing a change in the society.

    Brought up in different cities with different cultural roots, Shreya finally found her semblance of a home in Delhi and on stage. After completing her undergraduation in Multimedia and Mass Communication from IP College for Women, University of Delhi, Shreya took an year off to travel and practice theatre. During this time, she also dabbled in other art forms such as madhubani painting and calligraphy. Her interest in performing arts and academia led her to pursue the Young India Fellowship. At Vedica, Shreya works as the Programme Lead. Through her interactions with the scholars, she endeavours to ensure that they have a transformative and enriching learning experience.

    Coordinator, Careers and Development

    Having graduated from the Young India Fellowship recently, Snehi is working as a Coordinator in the Careers and Development team at Vedica. Her under-graduation thesis, ‘Architectural Intervention in Gendered Spaces’, is what prompted her to associate with Vedica. She’s an architect by education, but prefers putting together words and colors more than walls. Owing to her interest in multiple projects at once, she’s always in the process of learning, unlearning and relearning. Usually found in oversized clothes painting galaxies and drawing mandalas. She also enjoys canceled plans, laughing at her own jokes, and wishes to own a rotating library someday.

  • Varun Sharma

    Manager Strategy and Dean’s Office

    Varun Sharma is Manager - Strategy and Dean’s Office at Vedica. He completed his Bachelors in Management Studies from SSCBS, University of Delhi and went on to work with KPMG India in their Deal Strategy team where he worked with clients in the consume retail landscape of India. To pursue his curiosity in subjects such as literature, history, art, social sciences, he went on to pursue the Young India Fellowship at Ashoka University after which he joined the Cancer Care team at Tata Trust’s as a Program Officer. He worked there to manage the establishment and setting up of hospitals and diagnostic testing labs across the country. Born and brought up in Delhi, Varun has always loved exploring various parts of his city in search of the best food in his free time. He enjoys going out for a run every once in a while if food isn’t on his agenda and is also a gaming enthusiast.
