I came to know about Vedica through the internet, I specifically searched for an institution which worked more on the liberal lines while focusing on Management. I am certain Vedica will help me develop holistically considering it's impressive core structure, it's outstanding faculty and the brilliant scholars from very diverse backgrounds

Before joining Vedica, Akshita graduated from MCM DAV College for Women, Panjab University. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree and a certificate in English literature honours. She had Political Science and Public Administration as her elective subjects.These subjects shaped her thoughts on the society. She has worked for the city Rotary and has internship experience. She is a fresh graduate.

Akshita is a huge fan of Jazz and Rock n Roll and would love to work for a music company someday.

I want to join Vedica, as it will provide me with a balance of technical know-how and mindfulness required for both professional and personal success. I believe I have the potential to achieve way beyond my activities in the present. I attain to be the best version of myself, hence, my decision to choose Vedica

Alekhya works as an associate course designer with Firki, an online teacher training portal by Teach For India. Alekhya Gampa holds a degree in Integrated M.A. in Sociology from University of Hyderabad. Her previous experience includes positions of management with Policy Innovations and EdgeMakers. She also is an alumnus of the noted Teach For India fellowship. Alekhya has over four years of experience in the field of education, including focussed experience as socio-economic consultant for a period of time.

Vedica has ignited a spark in hundreds of women in a forward direction to unleash their potential. The unique curriculum with the blend of liberal arts and expert faculty is a highlight for me which I believe will help me to enhance my learning curve. I am excited to be onboard this experiential learning journey

Ambika has graduated from Jesus and Mary College, Delhi University with a Bachelor of Commerce and then worked in Wipro as a Human Resource Manager. During her tenure, she was actively involved in people engagement, management exercises and employee retention plan. She has interests in diverse fields ranging from martial arts to mountaineering, from sketching to yoga. This fitness enthusiast is always open for new learning experiences. She has also interned/volunteered with Teach for India, Make a Wish Foundation, MaitriGrasim Industries and Youth Alliance. She is a member of the Golden Key International Honour Society for her academic excellence. She believes when it’s gray outside, bring your own sunshine. 

What drew me to Vedica was its holistic curriculum, the ‘Shadow a Woman CEO’ Module and the diverse backgrounds of my fellow Scholars. I believe Vedica will help me prioritise personal growth. I feel very grateful to have the opportunity to receive the guidance and support from mentors and visionaries like those at Vedica

Amnish completed  her B Tech in Computer Science with keen interest in Data Science  from IP University, Delhi. She was a part of the NGO, Leaders of tomorrow, in a campaign to help educate and provide materials and books to the less privileged. .She is currently working in Aon/Alight as Setup configuration Specialist. Within the short span of 6 months, she received the Gold award for unmatched team. She is a data analyst specialising in SAS. 

The course, structure, faculty, governing council, and the values that Vedica espouses strongly appealed to me. I am looking forward to learning from world-class faculty and, equally eager to shadow a woman CEO, and come out of Vedica feeling stronger, more confident and whole. A strong believer in the power of feminine energies, the collective strength, sensitivities and consciousness of women, I’m sure being surrounded by brilliant batchmates will help me function at my best

Ananta holds a Bachelors in Psychology from Lady Shri Ram College for Women, where she was an active part of the cultural societies and sports team. Before joining Vedica, she was working as the Content Head (Online) at Archies Limited after briefly interning at Viacom 18. A voice over artist and a trained Hindustani classical vocalist, Ananta is a National Scholarship holder from the Ministry of Culture, and has represented India at major cultural exchange events across the US and the UK.

I believe Vedica will help me lay the foundation on which I can build my future career. Vedica’s mission to empower the women of this country and enable them to break the glass ceiling in corporate India greatly attracts me. The course content and the faculty list is impressive and I believe this course will add value to my graduate degree in Food Technology and enable me to become an entrepreneur in this or allied field

Ananya Gauri Iyer holds a graduate degree in Food Technology from Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning (SSSIHL). Her course involved a wide range of subjects - Microbiology, Food Sciences and Technology, Human Physiology, Nutraceuticals and Food Quality Assurance. She hopes to be an Entrepreneur in the Food or Allied Industry. With this goal, she has undertaken short work assignments to study food preparation and distribution in large private and public hospitals. Ananya is also a trained Bharatnatyam dancer and has given several stage performances.

I came across the Vedica Scholars Programme for Women, when the team visited my college, LSR, for a short session. Hearing about the unique curriculum, that blends management studies and liberal arts, resonated with me, as I have long believed a well-rounded education is a cornerstone in shaping one’s personal and professional growth. I am particularly looking forward to the ‘ Shadow a Woman CEO’ Module, which would help me gain invaluable practical experience and expose me to the ins and outs of the industry

Anjali recently graduated from Lady Shri Ram College for Women. As an active participant, she undertook different roles from hospitality to organising sponsorships for different events in college. An avid social worker, she headed the flagship project “Sapne Hue Apne” at Neofusion Creative foundation, an NGO working to re-establish school drop outs in mainstream education in urban slums. She also possesses a keen interest in theatre, having worked as an “assistant director” at the Magic Creations Theatre academy in Gurgaon. Currently, she has also begun her own venture in clothing and retail, combining both her passions for fashion and business.

I am confident that Vedica would provide the exposure to work with people from various fields and the opportunity to constantly develop my skill set. The combination of management, personal growth, communication and liberal arts makes this Programme a complete package that provides an edge to my career

Anvesha Grover graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Commerce from Maitreyi College, University in Delhi. During her graduation, she did several internships in start-ups, NGOs and not for profit organisations in the field of marketing, research and fundraising. After this, she worked for 2 years as a senior associate in Clairvolex, which works towards IP asset management of various corporates and law firms.

For me joining Vedica is not only about getting into a postgraduate programme but to stand out and see a new me. 'Shadow a women CEO' module, to a diverse only woman peer group and getting trained by the best faculties with best industry experience, and there is a lot to unravel and I'm eagerly looking forward to it. In next 18 months, I will be walking a journey from education to empowerment, to break the glass ceiling

Aparna is a graduate from RGTU, Bhopal and is currently working with a Branding agency as BDE and Content writer, whereas her past experience lies in marketing.

A part of Aparna is always very keen to serve the society, which led her to contribute as a teacher at eVidyaloka. She has been actively participating in extracurricular activities since school, and represented her college at the state and national level in debate and speech competition and won prizes as well. She loves to write, read, travel and live life to the fullest.

There are many institutions that offer MBA and equivalent degrees but Vedica is different from all of these institutes. It is one of the few institutions that focuses on the development of women in India. Vedica prepares women for leadership role in the top companies in India and Abroad. Its effective style of imparting knowledge (which is the biggest drawback of our Indian education system), experienced learning from top level faculties along with its curriculum that has a perfect blend of management and liberal studies which adds another feather in the crown. Hope I will make the most out of the resources available here at my disposal and take this opportunity to learn and develop skills that will help me in my career ahead

I am Ayushi Sinha, did my graduation from St. Xaviers College majoring in Economics. I used to give tuitions children who cannot afford quality education. I have also won various singing competitions during my school level and graduation level. I was the coordinator of Econokriti, the departmental fest of our college. Also, I took study quite seriously apart from my co-curricular activities. I was a rank holder in my intermediate exam. I want to contribute to the society in whatever way I am capable of.

I believe that the curriculum at Vedica will provide me with the perfect opportunity to undertake management education and develop critical thinking skills, which are required to excel in the corporate world. Most importantly, I feel that this course will help me to reach my utmost potential both personally and professionally through mentoring and hands-on experience

Brinda is a psychology graduate from Kamala Nehru College and aims to have a career in organisational development. The human mind and its idiosyncrasies have always piqued her interest. She has previously interned with several organizations such as Tihar Jail, Fortis Hospital and KPMG. Brinda has also published her independent empirical research paper, “Job Satisfaction and Psychological Well Being of Indian Employees”. She has always had a passion for photography that she was able to channelise by serving the photography society of her college as the president. Currently, she is working with an NGO called Light Up, where she has assisted in prototyping and developing Social Emotional Learning (SEL) workshops for underprivileged children. 

I want to join Vedica, in order to grow and flourish both personally and professionally. Another motive for me was that the focus is laid more on practical and experience based learning rather than learning in the context of academic excellence. I believe that the Vedica Scholars Programme for Women helps us in actualizing and realizing our dreams

Deepshika Singh, from Hyderabad, was schooled at the Rosary Convent High School and did her B.E from Stanley College of Engineering for Women, Osmania University. She has always held distinction throughout her education. She has always been passionate about business and aims to understand the deep nuances of it. She credits these intellectually stimulating activities to having perked her curiosity and firmly believes that the Vedica Scholars Programme for Women would help her take steps in the right direction towards achieving her long term career goals.

I’m very impressed by the course structure designed at Vedica. While most traditional MBAs lack communication and personal development, Vedica gives them justified importance

Disha completed her schooling from the Shri Ram School in Delhi NCR from the ICSE board. She studied English Honours from Ramjas College, Delhi University and was heavily involved in theatre. She was the President of her theatre society, Shunya. Post that, she worked in marketing for over two years. She was a Culture Manager at Social (café/bar) and then moved on to curating digital strategies for multiple brands like Sleepwell, Magic Moments, etc. She is experienced in marketing, social media, business development and event management. She has also done  internships in the hospitality sector and social work for NGOs during her schooling.

I’m extremely happy about joining the Vedica Scholars Programme because I believe it is the right place for women to get a unique and high quality education. Also, we will be gaining great exposure to inspiring business leaders and mentors. Vedica is grooming future female leaders, of which I hope to be one myself

Divya is from Bangalore. She has a Bachelors degree in Commerce from AIMS Institute of Higher Education. She was consistently among the top three academic achievers of her class from years 2015 to 2018. Divya has also been volunteering with Sparsha Trust, Karnataka’s Best NGO, since 2014. She obtained a sponsorship for her higher studies based on her outstanding work tutoring underprivileged children and making videos under the Adobe Youth Voices Project, which raised awareness about children’s safety. Currently, Divya is helping Sparsha develop a syllabus for children from standard 1 to 5; this project is funded by Toyota.

Since Vedica aims to empower women, I believe it will help me acquire a successful and secured position for myself 5-7 years from now through the kind of education and exposure it offers to its scholars. My experience in Vedica as a student will help me face new situations and challenges in life more effectively since this institution doesn\'t only offer classroom education but provides real life experiences which would facilitate one’s role in their career

Jayeeta has had a unique and keen interest in knowing and dealing with different kinds of people and challenges and has always strived for a broader outlook towards life. She secured 95% marks in her CBSE 12th board examination and has completed her graduation in Psychology securing 1st Division marks from Kamala Nehru College, Delhi University. She claims that psychology as a subject has molded her in various ways and has made her more sensitive towards people in general. Jayeeta has also submitted various projects on mental health, organizational behavior, and social issues like LGBT. Apart from academics she has various achievements in art which includes dance and music. She is a fresh graduate with internship experience.

I feel my journey with Vedica began the day I sat for my interview. If an hour long interaction could be so exciting and full of new learnings, I can only imagine what the next 18 months have in store for me. The innovative curriculum will not only enhance my knowledge but will also help me grow as an empowered and independent woman

Kavya is a graduate in Bachelor of Science in Finance from Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies, Mumbai. She  has been an active member of the Entrepreneurship Cell of her college. During her course, she interned under Indian Railway Finance Corporation where she prepared a research report on fund raising through issuance of bonds and foreign exchange risk management. She also interned under Venture Catalyst, Mumbai, where she worked on a few valuation projects related to startups.  Apart from academics, Kavya has a creative side which she keeps exploring, she has deep interest in art like sketching and painting . She strongly believes that Vedica will help her build both, her creativity and intellect through it's unique curriculum

What captivated me about Vedica was their unconventional and unique curriculum, outstanding faculty and the diversity of students. My interview with them made it clear to me that our views about education synced completely. I believe that Vedica will help me to break the glass ceiling I am facing in my career

Kirithiga is an engineering graduate from the National Institute of Technology, Nagpur. She had started to follow her passion for entrepreneurship right from the beginning by shifting her career to become an Image Consultant. She founded 30 Seconds Image Consulting in 2012 and became the youngest image consultant in India at the time and the first in Tamil Nadu. She was also one of the senior faculty in Image Consulting Business Institute, Chennai. Her interest in entrepreneurship has also led her to dabble in starting up several business in the food and hospitality industry. Happily married for three years, she loves cooking, dancing and travelling with her husband. With Vedica she is looking forward to discovering a new skill set that would let her overcome her current limitations and scale newer heights.

Vedica means “consciousness”. Snigdha has multitude of interests .She believes Vedica will help her become conscious of her life- long aims aims also objective of Vedica to empower and think uniquely about women attracted me to the course. The unique blend of management and liberal arts is bound to give a holistic development. I hope to explore my own unexplored domains, acquire skills to excel in whatever I do professionally and personally

Snigdha has core interests in creating awareness about citizens rights. She has double bachelors degree one in English literature from St Xaviers Ranchi and other in Bachelors  of Education from SKMU . She also has been through civil services mains twice which makes her highly aware of happenings in and around the world. She has worked for two years as faculty for  coveted competitive exams  of India. Her core interests are as theatre artist, avid reading and travelling.

I believe that Vedica will prepare Scholars with the right skills and attitude to become 21st century professionals, and more so, through harnessing the experience of some of the most inspiring and successful women leaders and mentors

Mahima comes to Vedica with three years of experience in banking. In her last role, she worked as Assistant Manager at YES Bank Ltd, where she facilitated operational and suspicious transactions, audits, customer service and due-diligence in retail banking. She has been consistently recognised as a top performer and was awarded for generating maximum revenue in a quarter by qualifying many contests at the regional and cluster levels. Prior to this, she worked with Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd. as Relationship Manager. She holds a post graduate diploma in Banking and Relationship Management from Manipal University Bangalore, and a Bachelors in Computer Science Engineering. 

No one from a pet store will want a bird that cannot fly. So Vedica , for me shall provide those wings , that will help me get out of the uncomfortable zone and finally let me embrace the change and celebrate the results of the change!

A recent graduate in sociology honours from Sri Venkateshwara college , Delhi university , Malvika has interned with Spic Macay, which is a voluntary youth movement that promotes intangible aspects of Indian cultural heritage by promoting Indian classical music , classical dance , folk music , yoga ; it’s a movement with chapters in over 300 towns all over the world .

Her latest internship was with Alliance Francaise de Delhi, that is an international organisation that aims to promote French language and culture around the world .

Vedica’s vision to abridge the gender gap in the work-force and train women as quality professionals drawn me towards this particular course. I believe, the course’s structure, the learned faculty, along with the residential experience ensuring a focused approach towards the above-said vision is going to be a stepping stone towards achieving my personal and professional goals.

Mansi Dobhal holds Under- graduation and Post-graduation degrees in Mathematics from the University of Delhi. She was voluntarily involved in her family business to get a glimpse of business development, along with being actively involved in social work at an individual level. She has been helping kids with free teachings. Further, she is a nature lover and has a creative tinge to everything, be it in team leading activities, theatre, debates or presentations, which defines her personality. Her strengths are Emotional Intelligence and stress management.

I believe Vedica’s perfect fusion of authentic, modern leadership and life skills leave scholars with a complete and stronger sense of self awareness and equip them with vital life skills. Vedica also provides a direct platform of interaction with top management professionals and trending business tycoons. The best facet is that holistic learning takes precedence, regardless of which background you’re from. Vedica asks you to search yourself find what makes you unique

Manu graduated with a degree in Computer Science Engineering from NIMS university. She Joined Wipro as an associate and initially, was tasked with handling the software tools of the wipro clients, but later transitioned into working as subject matter expert before then clearing her first leadership module and transitioning into her role as a acting team leader.

Vedica’s emphasis on skilling, not just within the course but beyond it, will help me broaden my perspectives and approach problems from diverse positions. I feel that its unique method of combining management principles and perspectives from liberal arts will play an important role in my professional as well as personal growth

Mrinalika Vats has done her Bachelors in Political Science from IP College, Delhi University. Being an arts student, she has always been inquisitive and tried to explore diverse areas. She has been a core member of the ‘Discussion Forum’ of her college and helped in organising various events for it. She has previously worked with bodies like The UNESCO and ICSSR. She strongly believes in giving back to the community and is associated with NGOs like School for Democracy, Humans for Humanity and Samriddhi.  Mrinalika is also a passionate dancer and holds a Bachelors degree in Kathak Nritya from Prayag Academy, Allahabad. At Vedica, she aspires to learn more under the guidance of experienced faculty and looks forward to being prepared to make strong and sustainable.

Natasha worked with Nestlé as a Quality Assurance Officer after graduating in Dairy Technology from College of Dairy and Food Science Technology, Udaipur. At Nestlé, she was exposed to growth in more than one dimension. Interacting with a diverse group of people she learnt to collaborate internally and lead by example. Being a certified trainer through Train the Trainer Certification she was engaged in shop floor trainings to individuals to improve product quality and aligning people in meeting business goals. While in college, she actively participated in the intercollegiate youth festival "GOONJ" and represented the college in the technical festival "SAMATVA". Natasha looks forward to an enriching experience at Vedica that will help her excel in the corporate world to become an influential woman.

A healthy mix of liberal arts and business skills, the classroom diversity and the prolific network of mentors would help me gain interactive skills, expand my social circle and finally establish a career in an industry of my choice. Niharika has hands on experience in general  ,project and client management roles spread across 3 different industries. Her experience with coveted organizations like Enactus, ITC Limited and the Ministry of Jammu and Kashmir has helped her realize her interest in the development sector. Additionally, academics and studying multi-disciplinary subjects has always excited her. She has completed PG Diplomas in international Law, Data Analytics and is all geared up for her third masters. She believes in creating an impact wherever she goes and aspires to be an entrepreneur. Niharika is currently working on a book on implicit biases and is the founder of an initiative ByetoBias. Dancing, reading and travelling are some of her hobbies that play a major role in defining her.

I believe Vedica has a creative and innovative mission towards the empowerment of women and its flagship programme is unique, initiating scholars into the world of management accompanied with liberal arts. It provides the scholars with a wholesome understanding of the challenges and perspectives of managing organisations. This makes the Vedica Scholars Programme interesting and endears one to embark on this journey

Nilaa comes with 2 years of work experience with Tata Consultancy Services as an SAP HCM Consultant, which she joined after her graduation from Sri Sairam Engineering College, Chennai. During her tenure, she worked on more than one account simultaneously and has consistently proven her versatility. Her hobbies include painting, gardening and listening to music. She likes exploring new avenues for growth and has stepped into Vedica now with the same spirit.

I have always believed in the concept of gathering knowledge through experience. It is that belief that drew me to the unique curriculum in Vedica. I believe it will not only make me an effective leader, but also expose me to fresh perspectives and experiences which could prove essential in my journey in becoming an independent and confident woman, who is capable of transforming her work space

Nistha graduated with Bachelors in Science with Honours in Psychology from CHRIST (Deemed to be University). Her professional experiences with multiple hospitals and the Ministry of Power, and extra-curricular activities have helped polish her leadership skills. Her volunteer work at various NGOs for women’s and children’s empowerment has led to her aim of establishing a rehabilitation centre to aid people in psychological distress. Through Vedica, she wishes to understand the dynamics of being an effective leader while simultaneously building a strong network which can help her grow.

Nivanshi is an Economics graduate from the University of Delhi. She had also volunteered as Creative Team member for a year in "Leaders for Tomorrow", a youth movement for social development issues. She has a keen interest in stock markets and is a certified technical analyst.

There are mainly three reasons why she wanted to be a Vedica Scholar. Firstly, she is greatly impressed with the "Shadow a CEO” program as it is a great opportunity to learn from an experienced woman CEO. Secondly, she has been looking forward to experience the unique curriculum which blends management with real time skills. Thirdly, she believes that this program will help her with the skills to become an entrepreneur some day

Padmapriyadarshini Manokaran has completed Bachelor's in Metallurgical Engineering from PSG Tech College of technology, Coimbatore and has completed her Master's in Advanced Metallurgy from the University of Sheffield, UK from where she has worked with Grain Oriented Electrical steel samples from Cogent Orb Electrical steels (Tata Steels). She has also been a tutor for grade 9 students teaching NCERT Maths at her home using student centered learning techniques. Her strong interest in holistic education and search for a unique management programme paved way to join Vedica.

I believe Vedica’s holistic approach to management shall help me amass necessary traits to become a leader and make me courageous enough to face failures and learn every minute. The combination of classroom learning and mentorship by the most inspiring and influential professionals and leaders is a vital reason that helped me choose Vedica

Pooja Soni went to Singapore for the student exchange programme in 2009 conducted by BARC Mumbai. She graduated in 2014 from Banasthali Vidyapeeth with a Bachelor of Technology in Electronics and Communications. She had flight CESSNA 152 during her student pilot training and while pursuing her B. Tech degree, she worked as a technical fest coordinator. Post that, she worked in Ericsson India for over 3 years. She was also a coordinator of the CSR group, SPARK, where she conducted various events at the department level. She has also worked as SPOC for Ericsson tools for over 80 people.

Making appropriate choices is a must for an individual to lead a holistic personal and professional life. I truly believe that “Vedica, with its unique curriculum, will help me to discover leadership and management from a new perspective through constant mentoring and will inspire me to do my best and give back to the community. Furthermore, the ‘Shadow a Woman CEO’ module will allow me to engage with women leaders and provide me the opportunity to learn how leaders drive organizations

Rashi graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering from Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya, Bhopal. Having almost 5 years of work experience at Genpact, and later with ‘DZ Card’, highly secure EMV chip card provider, as an Assistant Sales & Marketing Manager. While she is an adventurous and outgoing person, her true passion lies in entrepreneurship and enabling people. She likes trying new things and working within an acceptable level of discomfort. Apart from being a competent person in her professional life, she aspires to be a resilient leader.

Vedica program will help me build my inner strength, efficiency, calibre and potential by providing me with examples of successful female leaders. I hope Vedica will teach me to use my power as a woman to successfully lead cancer survivorship initiatives and I am excited to start my journey at Vedica Scholars

Ritu Bhalla is a graduate in B.Com from School of Open Learning, Delhi University in 2012. She is a two-time Blood Cancer survivor. She is a leader of a Childhood Cancer Survivor Group and a society member in the pan India national society, CanKids…KidsCan. She led a study on Gender Bias of girl cancer children and got the opportunity to present her work at the 45th National Congress of SIOP & Childhood Cancer International 2013 in Hong Kong earning her the title of Girl Childhood Cancer Ambassador of India. She served as an Awareness & Advocacy Officer, Donor Manager and Event & Communications Manager in CanKids for last 5 years. As a survivor advocate, she has spoken on various national & social media platforms & organized fundraisers, conferences, workshops, street plays to create awareness about childhood cancer. Her interest lies in poetry, sketching, learning new things, communicating, public speaking, advocacy & being creative. She believes that Vedica will help her to be a successful woman professional & leader to inspire other girl childhood cancer survivors.

I have always taken a liking to unconventional places where I can develop the right combination of experience and perspective. It is for this chance to reap the benefits of this combination and a talented peer-group that I want to join the Vedica Scholars Program

Rumani is a proud alumna of the School of Liberal Studies, PDPU, where she majored in Business Administration and minored in Psychology. Her inquisitiveness towards ideas that transform into businesses led her to an early stage startup, PlexusMD, where she joined as its seventh employee and saw the journey of it becoming one of India’s leading healthcare startups. Over her three year stint with them, she worked across various teams and has led several key projects. Before joining Vedica, she led Medcast, PlexusMD newly launched video-on-demand platform for medical events and courses. Apart from her background in health-tech, Rumani is also a freelance content writer and writes on both technical and non-technical subjects.

An inquisitive character, Sakshi is a graduate in commerce from Pandit Ravishankar Shukla University, Raipur. Prior to that, she completed her schooling from Delhi Public School, Bhilai. It was while pursuing Chartered Accountancy that she realised her inclination towards management and entrepreneurship. She is keen to explore her interests with the diverse array of subjects and practical learning at Vedica before delving into the corporate world. She is confident that the coming 18 months will help her grow both professionally and personally. An avid reader, she occupies herself with books in her downtime.

Samapika graduated with a Bachelors (Hons) degree in Commerce from Kamala Nehru College, University of Delhi. Following that, she interned at a chartered accountant firm for 9 months. She headed the Commerce Quiz team during her college days. She is a foodie, travel enthusiast and an ardent dog lover. She wants to explore opportunities and discover her strengths to get the best out of her in the coming 18 months at Vedica.

Sampada hails from Durg, Chhattisgarh, where she has pursued all her studies. She has graduated in Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering from SSTC, Bhilai, after which she worked with Cognizant Technology Solutions, Chennai. She has constantly been associated with Outreach, an initiative by Cognizant, where she has volunteered for imparting knowledge, teaching underprivileged children, making classrooms innovative, and helping orphanages. She has taken up key responsibilities in organising inter-college fests, celebratory meets and award ceremonies at her workplace. Her affable nature earned her the nickname 'Nokia' among her colleagues.

I firmly believe Vedica is the ideal Programme, because of three prominent reasons. The first, is its unique and cognitive curriculum, which breaks stereotypes of a mainstream MBA programme. The second is the eminent mentors and exceptional peers who would greatly aid professional and personal development. A dynamic and motivated graduate from PSG College of Technology, Coimbatore, Sanchanaa is an engineer in biotechnology with intense determination for knowledge enhancement and an ardent desire to work towards women’s empowerment. She has worked as a teaching volunteer with Make a Difference (Coimbatore), which is a NGO ensuring equitable outcomes for children in shelter homes across India. She has also served as a Radio Jockey in her college community radio (PSG Community radio 107.8) for two years during which she also served as the head of cinematography. She is a passionate photographer and a mandala artist. She is a young enthusiast with a sense of social responsibility which had driven her through her college radio. She has been vehement about her interest in theatre and acting ever since her school days. Through radio programs, she spread awareness among the young of her city about social welfare and societal conflicts. 

She has also been the campus ambassador for Hook films which is an Indie film and short film distribution company that focuses on discovering young talent in filmmaking thereby helping them acquire recognition globally. She has interned with Raptor Technology, Coimbatore which is an educational software developer company wherein she has been a subject matter expert and voice over artist for their educational software.

What differentiates Vedica is its unique and pluridisciplinary curriculum and unparalleled education experiences combined, which would help me in making informed decisions and communicating more effectively. Understanding a problem from multiple perspectives would definitely widen my horizon to arrive at a feasible solution

Sanjana is a graduate in Communication and Computer Engineering from LNMIIT, Jaipur. She takes keen interest in activities around her and has showcased leadership skills by heading the student council of her school as a House Captain and Head Girl. A dedicated team player, Sanjana has won several accolades in sports event and coordinated the Girls Badminton team of college. She was a member of the editorial board of her College Magazine and has won several oratorical events at school. As an intern in Chakriya Vikas Pranali Sanstha, she worked in an initiative to generate a source of income for rural women. She has worked on a project that required her to analyze the various elements of cinema and its relation with society.

I want to be a part of Vedica because it is a unique Program featuring world class faculty, eclectic courses, and diverse peers. I believe all of these would aid in the evolution of both my personal and professional career. Sarmista Patra recently graduated with a Bachelors in Technology in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering from Koustuv Institute of Self Domain, which is Eastern India’s 1st Degree Engineering College exclusively for women. She consistently scored good marks and was awarded the first place in her final semester results. While at college, she actively took up key responsibilities in organising inter-college fests and functions, and was crowned with the title of ‘Campus Ambassador’. She believes that by being a Vedica Scholar she would discover her inner strengths and become an even more confident woman.

I am extremely excited to join the Vedica Scholarship Programme because of its unique curriculum and the opportunity to learn from brilliant minds. Saumya graduated from Delhi University with a Masters in Modern Indian History, after having completed her Bachelors from Lady Shri Ram College for Women. She holds a certificate of merit from the Central Board of Secondary Education for being among the top 0.01% performers in History all over India. Graduation and post-graduation in History has enabled her to gain considerable experience in carrying out research work, which necessitated collecting data, exploring study resources, planning out and compiling projects, working in groups, critically analysing source material, deducing and summarising arguments, developing ideas and arguments and making presentations with clarity. She has also successfully completed 'B' and 'C' certificate programme as part of 4 Delhi Girls Battalion in National Cadet Corps, improving her ability to adapt to adverse situations and challenges. Her internship with Peopleist India helped her enhance her business strategizing, analytical, technical and marketing skills. She has a deep passion for spreading health awareness and popularising traditional healing methods. She has gained the most meaningful and satisfying experiences by volunteering to teach and educate the underprivileged.

I want to join Vedica, because not only do I want an MBA-like programme tailored specifically for women, but I also want exposure beyond books. Shilpa has completed her Bachelors degree in Commerce from AIMS Institute of Higher Education in Bangalore. She has been volunteering at an NGO called Sparsha Trust (Karnataka’s leading NGO in child protection and child rights) for the last five years. In addition to fundraising and organising events for Sparsha, Shilpa has also made many videos and short films that narrate the lives of the underprivileged children who the NGO has helped. Shilpa is spending as much time as possible with her best friends before she has to leave Bangalore to join Vedica. 

I believe Vedica's unique and reimagined curriculum, which focuses on building women professional leaders, will help me achieve the best in all aspects of life. Shnekha Priya is a graduate in Computer Science and Engineering from Jeppiaar Institute of Technology. She worked as a Software Engineer at Accenture Solutions, Chennai with the developing and testing team in an agile environment for a leading bank in the US. She has always been an active participant in cultural activities in her school and is passionate about acting. She was also appreciated for her notable acting skills in corporate cultural program. At Vedica, she aspires to learn and equip herself with the required skills and temperament to become a successful leader and influencer.

The reason that the Vedica Scholars Programme for Women had me intrigued is how it amalgamates liberal studies with management. Really excited to see how this programme is going to shape my thinking process as well as my overall personality

Shraddha Sethi is a graduate of Delhi College of Arts and Commerce, Delhi University. Soon after her graduation, she worked with an intellectual property asset management firm for a little over two years. And even though she really enjoyed her professional experience, she believes one should constantly work towards enhancing their skill sets and knowledge and has, hence, decided to pursue her post graduation at Vedica.

Shramani graduated with a Bachelors of Technology in Electrical and Electronics from the Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology. Driven by her passion for numbers and problem solving, she worked as an analyst in Mu Sigma for two years where she got a first-hand experience of the IT industry while learning the basics of analytics. Post that, she moved to a start-up where she got acquainted with the daily functioning and struggles of a start-up. Always driven by the direct impact of her work, she tried her hand at entrepreneurship by launching her own F&B brand, Wonder Jam. Her experiences from the corporate and the start-up environments helped her build structure in her own venture. She believes Vedica will drive her entrepreneurial spirit in the right direction. Besides work, she is a trained classical dancer and loves playing chess.

Hailing from the Central Indian state of Madhya Pradesh, Shreya is a Computer Engineer with a PG diploma from CDAC, Pune. She worked at HSBC Software Development Pvt Ltd, as a Software Engineer and later joined Nelito System as a Technical Consultant. She served Nelito's client TCS and independently handled the smooth functioning of ETL in DNB ASA Bank, Norway. She actively participated in HSBC's CSR projects where she taught Environmental Studies in local schools. She extended her love for art and craft by teaching the same to Teach for India kids. She enjoys baking and has organised bake sales for fundraising events across Bhopal and Pune. Shreya believes in a future built on the values of empathy and compassion and assures that desserts make the world a better place.

Traditional business management studies have never interested me. I chose Vedica because of its unconventional, yet effective way of teaching you business. I thought only studying business, Marketing, strategy etc was vital for me to go forward within this field, but the introduction of liberal arts Vedica has added a whole new perspective to this approach. I am looking forward to learning as much as I can to become an individual ready to face the corporate world, armed with the knowledge I need to succeed

Shreyanshi holds a degree in B.B.A from the Osmania University in Hyderabad. She has interned with three different companies in different roles, including roles such as product analyst, digital marketing

and assisting an angel investment network in the evaluation startups as potential investments. She handled the marketing a nascent startup called “Kierea.” She has a developed a keen interest in marketing and business and has a deep understanding of the world of digital marketing and loves to keep up with new trends that prevail in the sector. She characterizes herself as a person with an ability to take risks and challenges. In her free time, she is often found lost in a book or in nature.

I believe Vedica will provide me with managerial skills and hone my leadership abilities which will help me to structure and scale up my project AVAM. I have always feared numbers and I hope that I will be able to overcome my fear which will be a great leap in my social entrepreneurial journey

Shuma is a Gandhi fellow who worked with educational middle managers of ‘Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan’ in their leadership roles to improve the Student learning outcomes in 45 government primary schools of rural Surat. She is a Computer Science Engineer from Panjab University and worked with InfosysLtd before joining the fellowship. Through her project Happy Periods, she is creating period ready schools and communities in Surat district. When not getting stressed about her project, she likes to talk about life to friends, family and strangers. 

I believe that the ever-growing and evolving educational requirements can be met with a perfect blend of communication and management. The diverse peer-group and world-class faculty at Vedica will help me develop my ideas into a successful plan of action. My interview experience and alumni interaction have helped me understand the unique way in which this program will develop my interpersonal skills while focusing on the core of an MBA programme

Smiriti holds a Bachelors Degree in Commerce from Shri Ram College of Commerce, Delhi University. She has worked with Macquarie Global Services Pvt. Ltd. as a Senior Associate. Her primary responsibilities were monitoring, reporting of daily funding movements and balance sheet balance certification during financial close. During her stint with the organization, she worked across several verticals like Asset Management, Treasury, Capital Group etc. Beyond the scope of finance, she has collaborated with Deloitte experts for Artificial intelligence implemented across processes at her workplace. She is a craft enthusiast and enjoys penetrating into nature during free time.

Sonika is an alumna of Amity University, Noida with majors in Bachelors of Information and Technology. She was an academic scholarship awardee for 3 consecutive years in college. She started her career in the development sector as a Content Writer and then went on to become a Public Relations consultant.  While working at Idiog Consultancy, she successfully carried out the project for Maitri India concerning Child Marriage. Her interests and skills lie in project management and corporate communication.

Tanshi has recently graduated in Business Administration and Law from Bharti Vidyapeeth University, Pune. Through the five-year graduation program, she had interned with renowned law firms including AZB Partners (Pune), Hemant Sahai & Advocates (Delhi) and DSK Legal (Delhi). She also pursued her interest in influential writing whilst working as a consultant writer and guest author for HeyZindagi.in.  She has published articles on various topics of national concern, including the growing need and importance of accessible travel/tourism, and the legal rights of the cancer patients senior citizens and abled people in India. As a woman who wants to live her life to the fullest, she believes Vedica will help achieve her full potential.

Tanya is a strong business development professional, who graduated from Symbiosis School For Liberal Arts, Pune, majoring in Business Studies. To put it simply, studying the liberal arts not only provided her a multi-faceted view of the world but enabled her to see beyond one perspective. Tanya plays a dual role - one, as an experienced Strategic Planner with a demonstrated history of working in the Advertising & PR Industry and another, as a strong advocate for the humane treatment of all animals. Since the past one year, I have graduated from G.D. Goenka University, with a Bachelor's Degree in Journalism and Mass Communication. I have also worked as a Content Management Executive with 2 startups.

I am looking forward to mixing my pre-existing media skills with the Vedica way of learning, and producing a delectable meal that I can go on to build upon and  enjoy for the rest of my life.

Trisha graduated in Electronics and Instrumentation from SSGI Bhilai, Chhattisgarh and was among the top 10 rankers of her branch in state. She has participated in various inter-college cultural competitions and has also headed the cultural fest for the college. She loves travelling, interacting with people and managing events. Vandita has been interested in finances right after school which inspired her to take up the Chartered Accountancy course along with a graduation in Commerce. She graduated from   J D Birla Institute, Kolkata. Later she undertook her articles ship with Deloitte Haskins and Sells, Kolkata as per ICAI regulations. After a year’s stint, she moved to a mid-size CA boutique firm at Kolkata, S Jaykishen, which gave her wider work exposure. She interned at an industrial undertaking which was manufacturing asbestos products at Kolkata and helped in designing SOP for the Marketing and Sales Department. Vandita is currently working as an GST associate with a mid-sized CA firm, Saraf and Chandra, at Kolkata. 

I believe that Vedica will be the foundation on which I hope to build my dreams. Its unique course structure designed to empower young women professionals at the workplace is something I am really excited about

Vanshika Singh holds more than two years of experience as a Transmission Planning Engineer at Ericsson, Noida. She was an active and core member of Team AAVAHAN- Employee Engagement Group which helped her to develop the skills required to manage a large group of people. She graduated from Mody University of Science and Technology, Rajasthan with a Bachelors degree in Electronics & Communication. She served as Technical Head of the Electronics & Communication Society for her college which helped her polish her leadership skills and become a confident person.

At Vedica, I look forward to enhancing my leadership skills, decision making skills and also learning new propagandas of the corporate sector. I believe this experience will help me ascend and make a difference to my professional life

Having completed her Engineering in Electronics and Instrumentation from Bangalore Institute of Technology, Bangalore, Varsha worked with Accenture as an Analyst for more than two years where she helped her clients in providing technology solutions to business problems in an optimized manner. She was conferred with the Propel Award, 2017 by Accenture leadership for exemplary delivery and has received client appreciation for showing responsibility towards critical deliverables. She was also an active member of the CSR wing of Accenture, has driven initiatives like “Diversity and Inclusion at Workplace” and also organised workshops and cultural activities. Varsha is constantly motivated to explore new options and possibilities. Having a taste of what the technical field has to offer, she is excited about exposing herself to the diverse perspectives of other career tracks.

The Vedica Scholars Programme is innovative and one of its kind, which is why it intrigued me in the first place. It offers a diverse set of subjects, combined with hands-on experience and mentorship by some very known people in the industry – a combination offered by no other course till now. Vidhi is a graduate in journalism and mass communication from Amity University. She has worked with Text100 India as a PR Executive. During her three year stint, she handled media communication of premium brands like Maruti Suzuki and Max India. She learnt media planning, event management and client servicing. Vidhi has also worked with Make A Difference,  a youth volunteer network working with kids living in shelter homes. She was an English language teacher and also part of the City Lead Team as Centre Head. She is a zesty, observant and a gritty person who believes that kindness can change the world. She is passionate about preserving the environment and community service.
