Scholarship
Vedica is committed to aiding women in overcoming financial burdens for postgraduate education. Our mission of encouraging more women in India to achieve financial independence is most effectively realized when we utilize our own platform to provide pathways to ease the cost of education. In return, Vedica expects commitment, trust, and responsibility from the scholars regarding their finances. We are pleased to announce the need, merit and special-category scholarships for candidates applying for the Class of 2026.
Eligibility
In order to avail of the scholarship, the candidate should have received a confirmed offer of admission and have submitted the initial deposit of INR 88,500 as per the existing holistic admissions process.
Note: The scholarship is offered only on the tuition fee up to INR 10,00,000
Need-Based Scholarships
The programme offers need-based scholarships to Scholars who belong to any of the categories covered below i.e. Economically Weaker Sections (EWS), Special Category which include candidates’ family facing unforeseen circumstances, caregiving responsibility, financial responsibility, and diversity consideration.

Category-wise documents required for specific scholarships
Economical Weaker Section- A statement of purpose on why you should be awarded the Vedica scholarship (not more than 400 words)
- Economically Weaker Section Certificate issued by the concerned authority in the state is a mandatory requirement.
- Annual yearly family income (refer to point 1)
- Proof of your educational background including school, college and other academic qualifications. (Xth, XIIth, Graduation, Post-Graduation (if applicable) certificates)
- A portfolio of your extra-curricular achievements
Special Category
- A statement of purpose on why you should be awarded the Vedica scholarship (not more than 400 words)
- Annual yearly family income (refer to point 1)
- Proof of your educational background including school, college and other academic qualifications. (Xth, XIIth, Graduation, Post-Graduation (if applicable) certificates)
- A portfolio of your extra-curricular achievements
Points to be noted
- Annual Family Income is the consolidated annual income of all the earning members in the family, which includes income from all sources i.e., job, business, rent, agriculture, or any other sources for the last three financial years prior to the year of application (i.e., 2022-2024).
- The awarded scholarship amount will be adjusted against the total fee due in four equal instalments over the course of 18 months.
- There must not be any proven case of indiscipline and misconduct against the student during the programme. In case of any such act of proven indiscipline and misconduct against a student who has already been awarded the scholarship, the scholarship awarded will be repealed immediately.
- Scholarship holders cannot benefit from the one-time-payment waiver of INR 75,000 on their fees (refer to your offer letter for this clause)
- Insufficient information or incomplete documents will make the candidate ineligible. Such applications will not be processed/presented before the committee.
- The Scholarship Award should be treated with integrity and confidentiality.
- Vedica prioritises need-based scholarships to support women from underprivileged backgrounds.
Merit-based scholarships
Vedica awards Merit scholarships to candidates who have demonstrated exceptional performance in academics, sports or other extracurricular pursuits.
Eligibility
Any candidate who is applying for a Merit Scholarship should undergo the following criteria.
Previous Academic Records- CBSE/ISC/State Board(Indian): >=95%
- Undergraduate/Postgraduate: >=80%
Apart from the academic requirements, candidates may be invited to apply for the scholarship based on outstanding achievements or contributions in the extracurricular fields.

- Proof of your educational background including school, college and other academic qualifications. (Xth, XIIth, Graduation, Post-Graduation (if applicable) certificates)

The Scholarship Process
- Confirm your admission and send us an email at admissions@vedicascholars.com requesting a Scholarship.
- The team will share a form for you to submit your Scholarship documents and Statement of Purpose (SOP). Please go through the document requirements mentioned above on this page.
- Submit your documents and notify the admissions team via email. The team will review your records and shortlisted candidates will receive an email regarding the same on their registered email-id. The process takes anywhere between 25-30 days.
- All candidates will be required to appear for a Scholarship interview before an announcement of a waiver.
- Once a candidate is awarded a Scholarship, the team will send them a revised offer letter with the waiver adjusted against the total fee due in four equal instalments over the course of 18 months.
