Hailing from the city of Nawabs - Lucknow, Priya had a very active school life where she excelled at both academics and extra curriculars. She was an active member of The Bharat Scouts and Guides, and went for its national level trekking program. She is also a skilled Taekwondo player. She is a graduate in Bachelor of Technology (IT) . Right after college, she went on to pursue her UPSC dream and dedicated herself fully to the journey. The journey was fulfilling but end was far, and she decided to take more a practical approach and have a solid career plan. This led her to the Vedica Scholars Programme for Women, which aligned perfectly with her aspirations. She firmly believes in the causes of women empowerment and global peace. Her personal manifestation is "Don't just go with the flow, rather be the flow!!"
