Papia Bera a biotech engineer has an irresistible passion for food & beverage, agriculture, and has a keen interest in understanding different food and social cultures. Her passion led her to start her cloud kitchen with her pocket money to cater to the needs of the urban workforce for three hot & nutritious meals everyday. The taste of success in her small business and the growing happy customer base led her to reinforce her belief in the need for food tech innovation for better health and wellbeing against the heightened chronic ailments throughout the world. Nomads Neu, her 2nd startup was closely supported by the ICAR's National Agricultural Research Institute (IARI) lead stat-up incubator focused on developing a portfolio of patented functional food products. She has over five years of rich experience in executing an idea on paper to product in its mapped market. She has successfully raised seed funding from the Ministry of Agriculture in the form of a prestigious Grant-in-Aid for contributing to the income of small and marginal farmers. Apart from being a full time startup owner she actively worked as a chocolatier catering to consumer needs during festive seasons, and as a tea sommelier. Occasionally she finds herself as a dance choreographer painter. She is adores plant, children and books. She believes in leading a contributive and non-discriminative way of life and strictly condemns any form of war and violence.
