Anunaya Rajhans

Anunaya Rajhans is currently a PhD candidate at the Media Studies department, University of Amsterdam, where he studies internet memes; esp. meme culture in India and its impact on public and democratic discourse. His research involves browsing memes across platforms and borrows from practices across media & culture studies, anthropology, critical theory, digital methods and anthropology. He has taught writing, communication and critical thinking courses at the Young India Fellowship and the Plaksha Tech Leaders Programme. He runs a lit-pop magazine called Pendora. He is convinced that the internet and the classroom are the places where he truly belongs.
